Covered by two insurance plans?

My girlfriend just graduated from college, but it is covered by insurance student health until August 2007. She just found a job, which gives free health insurance from Aetna which means about seven months will have two Health Insurance Plans. My question is, is it possible to have to pay the liability of a company insurance, for example, 80% of the medical bill and then pay another company who would be your 20% co-payment, so you end up paying anything between both? If not, what is the advantage of having two insurance plans, if any. Thank you

Most of hte time, each policy has a clause to cover share with two or more policies. Unless one of the insurance is usually paid a pro rata basis, if you still end their co-payments and coinsurance. What minerals, there is no advantage to have two regimes.
