What is the average employee health insurance?
What percentage of the cost of health insurance does not cover most companies (I recognize that this can vary greatly, but I'm looking for numbers in general) -? Cigna to what is the monthly cost way for a family with parents and a son (the same way, I agree that this can vary considerably – I'm just trying to get an order of size) figure? I request that my current employer (250 people) Cigna provides insurance for about $ 750 per month, which covers my wife, me and my daughter. They say they cover 50% of health insurance plan, but I am struggling to buy the explanation that health insurance is expensive … more my sister and my brother are paying $ 50-70 per month for individual insurance. I do not want to get an appointment somewhere and can not find a site that contains information of this kind – ideas, advice, sources of information is welcome!
If they say $ 750 is half the cost coverage for your family, it does not seem too far. I work in the New York area, and two of our premium health plans monthly total over $ 1500 per month for family coverage. (These companies are HealthNet and Empire BC / BS HMO). Are you a union? My experience is that unions can be very quiet that the costs of their plans. I'm just trying to understand why your company does not give information What a total cost premiums.
