The federal government should participate in education?
I know you already, so please do not answer with what they already are, stupid. "What I ask is that if they are supposed to be involved according to our laws and our founding documents. I think it's Carter who started the Education Department, right? The public school system is "Federal" has really destroyed the best parts, leaving only unnecessary bureaucracy and wakes. And we spend more than any other country and get less results. All the people mentioning how our health insurance system, saying: "We have spent more than any other person and worse "and that's exactly what the federal government in education … we should abandon the plan too?
My state spends per student of 18 carats and 52% graduates. They say it's "stellar. NY resident pays highest taxes in the country, and lives in a city poverty rate of 28% in spite of most governments, most programs, and a ignorant voting base that he believes the money is "for children." The system is designed to meet the pockets of unions and taxpayers and people really believe that the leader of the Union when he said we need more for children. It's your job to get more for the Union. Liberals said about the money for decades, despite a massive increase in aid, has not changed. What now? More money? For whom? What about discipline and parental involvement? What is the private cost less and 99% graduate schools?

Chapters: Federation of Expellees, German Unity Day, Frisians, Beamter, Social Issues in Germany, Religion in Germany, New States of Germany, Immigration to Germany, Junker, Poverty in Germany, Social Apartheid, Artemis, Zivildienst, Volkstrauertag, Ring Deutscher Pfadfinderinnenverbände, Ring Deutscher Pfadfinderverbände, Totensonntag, Uradel, Thienen-Adlerflycht, German Order of Precedence, Volksmarching, Humanist Union, Old States of Germany, Voluntary Ecological Year, Voluntary Social Year. Excerpt: The German word Beamter (female: Beamtin or Beamte, plural: Beamte) means civil servant, and is pronounced , with a glottal stop between the ‘e’ and the ‘a’. This English translation may be ambiguous, as German law puts public employees into two classes, namely ordinary employees (Angestellte) and Beamte, making a distinction that does not exist in most other national bodies of law. The original idea was that whoever represents the state by doing official duties (hoheitliche Aufgaben), such as issuing official documents or making official decisions, should have a special kind of employment with the state. Today, such functions are often executed by non-Beamte, which means that the position of Beamte is distinguished by the supposed advantages that it confers, such as a special health plan (the Beihilfe, which covers half of many of the expenses, the other part being the responsibility of the Beamter himself), an index-linked pension of (at most) 71.5% of the last salary, paid directly by the state instead of the usual public (also state-run) pension insurance, and most importantly, the virtual impossibility of losing one’s job (basically, the state may only terminate employment in cases of serious felonies). Compared to other employees, civil servants … |

The Plot Against Social Security: How the Bush Plan Is Endangering Our Financial Future $2.16 Relentless and ominous, the drumbeat echoes across the land: Social Security is on the verge of bankruptcy. The warning has been repeated so often that it has become a dismal article of faith for the millions of Americans who pay Social Security taxes and expect to collect benefits someday. But it is flatly untrue. Social Security today is as financially strong as it has been in decades. Despite its relative good health, however, it is facing the most dangerous political challenge to its existence since its birth 70 years ago. The Plot Against Social Security explains who is really behind the efforts to reform this system and shows that the most frequently proposed fix — diverting a huge portion of its assets into private investment accounts — will damage it beyond repair, undermining retirement security for generations of Americans. Award-winning journalist Michael Hiltzik documents the privatization lobby’s ties to the brokerage and insurance industries that stand to profit from the proposed changes. He debunks the myths disseminated by Social Security’s enemies, repeated by rote even by its friends and now accepted as gospel by many Americans — including claims that the retirement of baby boomers will plunge the system into bankruptcy; that the $1.7 trillion in government securities held by the Social Security trust fund are worthless pieces of paper; and that workers can earn better returns on their payroll tax contributions by investing them privately than by leaving them in the system. Finally, he offers a clear set of remedies for those few elements of Social Security that do need repair — proposals that will shore up the most effcient social insurance program inAmerica’s history rather than destroying it in the name of reform. |
