Provincial Health Insurance Plan In Canada
Help! Need information on policies of life insurance in Canada ……?
I have an old friend whose husband just died two weeks Less. Reported to me that the life insurance company has requested a list of all visits and hospital visits that her husband had DR during past five years and the reason for all visits. Just knowing that you can pay a fee and obtain the most information about our health care system Provincial, I can not help but wonder about the legality of this requirement. I have relatives who are dead and nobody had to provide information. Does anyone know anything about this, or perhaps a site location where it might be able to know? I tried a search on google, but I did not find anything specific about this, and I do not think this woman should have to hire a lawyer for that. If someone can help, I appreciate it, Thanks
This is something that is probably perfectly legal. It really depends on the policy when they took and what kind of policy is (it is a political benefit? A guaranteed issue policy? life / term? something through bank?). With many insurance policies do not buy through a licensed insurance professional (ie: the hardware purchased by banks, television ads or labor services) such insurance which is called post underwritting claim. This simply a procedure to ensure that the application is properly completed and that the insurance has been legally established truth. With the life and health insurance purposes, is generally not a place where the applicant signs, which allows the company Insurance to collect personal information on health.
